Current Job Openings

Administrative Assistant; full time

Leaaf is currently looking to hire an upbeat, organized, and detail oriented individual to serve as our receptionist / office administrative assistant.  This individual will be responsible for greeting Leaaf's affiliates and clients on the phone and in person, and will additionally be responsible for keeping track of the office's various administrative needs.  The ideal candidate will have the capacity to stay organized while managing multiple ongoing tasks.    
 
This job will entail answering inquiries and providing detailed company information to visitors, partners, clients, and other interested parties; providing administrative support to members and internal staff; various clerical duties including answering telephones, typing / word processing, office machine operation, filing, assembling and delivering reports to clients, keeping track of office supply levels, making deposits, and other administrative support tasks.
 
This position requires a working knowledge of office systems and procedures, a high level of professionalism, and use of Microsoft-based computer programs.  Familiarity with Quickbooks is helpful.

Internship Program


Leaaf has an established internship program and typically has intern positions both at the graduate and undergraduate level available during the spring, summer, and fall semesters.  These paid positions are the perfect opportunity for us to share our environmental expertise with you as you begin your career in this field. 

Past interns have come from Tulane University, Southeastern Louisiana University, University of Bath in the UK, Loyola University, Birmingham Southern College, Louisiana State University, and McGhee High School.
