What You’ll Love About Leaaf

Great Company Culture (Leaaf Family): Leaaf prides itself in not only working together but playing together.

  • Weekly Cooking: If you are a closet chef and want to try out new recipes, Leaaf pays for the ingredients for someone to cook their creation for the rest of the Leaaf Family in our full kitchen. If you’re not a Top Chef contestant, then there is always the good old standby of ordering pizza.

  • Monthly Socials: Once a month, Leaaf shuts down the office to break out the smoker, grill or seafood boiler to decompress from the fast-paced world of environmental consulting. Depending on the month, the food will be accompanied with a theme-based adult beverage and yard games.

  • Quarterly Outings: Once a quarter our monthly social will morph into an out of office outing. Whether it’s heading to one of the parks in the area, a professional basketball or Rugby game, disc golf or a museum, Leaaf tries to get together as a family to enjoy what the community has to offer.

Work that Stays at Work: Leaaf understands that you have a life outside of work; therefore, we try to limit the amount of travel and overtime that one has to put in. We also provide flexibility to make up for the time that our clients do sometimes need.

Rest and Relaxation: 4 weeks of paid time off (PTO) and 10 days of paid holidays

Health Benefits: Medical with three plans from which to choose one that best fits your needs

Prepare for the Future: 401(k) with company match

Phone Allowance: Help you cover part of you cell phone bill

Internship Program

Leaaf has an established internship program and typically has intern positions both at the graduate and undergraduate level available during the spring, summer, and fall semesters.  These paid positions are the perfect opportunity for us to share our environmental or other expertise with you as you begin your career.

Past interns have come from Tulane University, Our Lady of Holy Cross College, Southeastern Louisiana University, University of Bath in the UK, Loyola University of New Orleans, Birmingham Southern College, Louisiana State University, and McGehee High School.
