We are excited to welcome our latest addition to the Leaaf Family! Diana Muñoz is an environmental engineer who joined Leaaf at the beginning of 2022, right after graduating with her Master of Science in Engineering from the University of New Orleans. She will be joining our recently created Engineering and Compliance Division.
Originally from Colombia, Diana moved to the United States back in 2013 to start her undergraduate studies at Gannon University in Erie PA, where she was also a part of the University’s golf team all 4 years. She then lived in Richmond VA for about 3 years and at the time she worked for Henrico County in the Public Works Department, mostly reviewing stormwater Best Management Practice (BMP) certifications and construction record drawings to comply with Virginia’s Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) regulations.
Diana was also able to obtain a Master in Sustainable Design Certificate and Bioclimatic Architecture from the University of Barcelona in 2019. In her free time, Diana enjoys being outdoors, attending sporting events, watching TV or reading a good book, and golfing.
