Jessica Rury

We are excited to welcome our latest addition to the Leaaf Family! Ms. Jessica Rury, AICP is an experienced environmental services professional having obtained Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from the University of Alabama and a Master’s degree in Environmental Studies Planning and Management and Wetland Science from Louisiana State University. Ms. Rury received Certified Planner designation from the American Institute of Certified Planners in 2016. As an environmental scientist providing environmental consulting services for over 15 years, she has performed various environmental permitting, risk-based assessments, groundwater remediation and consulting services. Ms. Rury’s project management experience includes Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESA), GIS map production, wetland delineations, National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) studies, environmental permitting, and Risk Evaluation/Corrective Action Program investigations and evaluations. Her specialties include due diligence, risk assessments, NEPA studies, and the Brownfields Program. Ms. Rury is a graduate of Dale Carnegie Leadership Course, Barton Leadership Course, and APA-Leadership Course. She regularly participates in both internal and external leadership and professional development courses. Ms. Rury has been involved with multiple organizations including the Louisiana Water Environment Association, Greater Baton Rouge Panhellenic Alumnae Association, Forum 35, Of Moving Colors Production Company, Capitol Section of the Louisiana Chapter of Americana Planning Association, and the Louisiana Brownfields Association. When Jessica isn’t serving her community through these organizations, she spends her free time crafting, reading, baking, writing short stories, and brunching.
