As part of this project, Leaaf completed a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) and a Phase II ESA and Risk Evaluation/Corrective Action Program (RECAP) Evaluation. Following these investigations, we prepared a Corrective Action Plan, provided soil excavation support to remove impacted soils, and conducted confirmatory sampling. We then prepared a Phase I ESA update incorporating these assessment activities.
In addition, we removed two underground storage tanks (USTs), removed a hydraulic lift, conducted asbestos, lead, and mold inspections, and completed a NEPA Environmental Assessment to secure funds from the Louisiana Housing Corporation (LHC) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). We also prepared Asbestos and Lead Abatement Plans and a Mold Mitigation Plan.
