Asbestos, Lead, and Mold

As part of a larger project to improve exterior waterproofing at the Louisiana State Capitol Building, Leaaf provided asbestos, lead, and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) support services.

Leaaf performed a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA), Part 58 Checklist, noise survey, and an asbestos and lead-based paint (LBP) survey for Gulf Coast Housing Partnership in association with two target properties undergoing commercial renovations and development.

Leaaf's Indoor Air Quality Division conducted a mold survey at the New Orleans Fire Station #7 consisting of air quality sampling, swab sampling, and moisture probe testing.

Leaaf worked with AKT Environmental Services to abate the iconic glass and steel greenhouse, donated in 1984 to the Audubon Louisiana Nature Center Campus.

Leaaf's Indoor Air Quality Division performed indoor air testing to determine if elevated concentrations of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) were present in ambient indoor air of the Learning Center located on the 3rd Floor. 

Leaaf Environmental, LLC (Leaaf) provided environmental support services for the preparation of activities associated with the demolition of the Guste Low Rise Housing site.
