Leaaf Environmental, LLC (Leaaf) has been collaborating with the Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) Manager of a facility to provide various environmental engineering and compliance services to ensure compliance with environmental regulations. These services included providing calculations, permitting, and annual reporting for air emissions, wastewater discharges, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) issues, and stormwater management design and permitting.

Leaaf played a crucial role in preparing the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP), Spill Prevention Control/Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPC/SPCC) Plans, and Emergency Management Plan for the facility. They also assisted with wastewater treatment issues and helped resolve any violations of permit limits with the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality (LDEQ).

In addition, Leaaf was involved in responding to an emergency explosion of chemicals, and worked closely with attorneys and responding agencies to ensure that all post-emergency reporting requirements were met. They also provided exploratory permitting services for a new facility in Texas.

Furthermore, Leaaf was responsible for designing and constructing stormwater mitigation measures at the facility to prevent flooding of warehouse and manufacturing units. This work was essential for ensuring that the facility met environmental regulations and protected the surrounding environment.

Overall, Leaaf provided a wide range of environmental engineering and compliance services to the facility, including calculations, permitting, annual reporting, SWPPP and SPC/SPCC plan preparation, emergency response, exploratory permitting, and stormwater management design and construction. These services helped ensure compliance with environmental regulations and protected the environment in and around the facility.
