Leaaf Environmental, LLC (Leaaf) has successfully supervised the transfer of a brick manufacturing facility to a new owner by managing the submission of a Notice of Change to the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality (LDEQ). This included the transfer of permits, providing air calculations, and revising air and stormwater permits, as well as addressing a fuel storage and Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) issue.
In addition, Leaaf was responsible for preparing a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) and Spill Prevention Control (SPC) / Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plan, which are crucial for preventing and mitigating environmental damage from potential spills or runoff. Leaaf also prepared the Tier II and Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) annual submissions, which are regulatory reporting requirements for businesses that handle hazardous materials.
Overall, Leaaf provided comprehensive environmental management services to ensure the smooth transfer of the brick manufacturing facility and to ensure compliance with environmental regulations. These services included permit transfer, air and stormwater permitting, fuel storage and RCRA compliance, SWPPP and SPC/SPCC plan preparation, and regulatory reporting.
