Leaaf obtained access agreements and prepared an Additional Work Plan; Sampling and Analysis Plan (SAP) and Quality Assurance/ Quality Control (QA/QC) Plan, and a Health and Safety Plan (HASP) to conduct a site investigation and further characterize the extent of Constituents of Concern (COCs) in soil and groundwater associated with historical operations that had drums, aboveground storage tanks (AST), an underground storage tank (UST), and various containers including paint and a truck wash sump.  The site investigation involved advancing soil borings; installation of temporary and permanent monitoring wells; soil groundwater sampling; and waste characterization sampling and disposal.

Leaaf prepared a Risk Evaluation/Corrective Action Program (RECAP) Management Option (MO)-1/2 Evaluation Report documenting the soil and groundwater investigation and its findings, including the recommendation of a Corrective Action Plan (CAP). Continuous annual groundwater monitoring events are conducted by Leaaf in order to quantify contamination of the site by metals, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and semi-volatile organic compounds (SVOCs).
