Leaaf Environmental, LLC (Leaaf) Engineering and Compliance Division is currently working on updating air, wastewater, and stormwater permits for multiple fuel docks and tank farms, which involves providing calculations to ensure compliance with environmental regulations. In addition, Leaaf is revising the Spill Prevention Control/Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPC/SPCC) Plans and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs) for these facilities to ensure that they have effective plans in place to prevent and respond to potential environmental incidents.
Leaaf is also responsible for calculating and submitting annual throughput reports to the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality (LDEQ) for each facility, which provides information on the amount of material that has been handled at the site. Additionally, Leaaf is responsible for submitting the annual Tier II and Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) reporting for multiple facilities, which are regulatory reporting requirements for businesses that handle hazardous materials.
Overall, Leaaf’s work involves ensuring that multiple fuel docks and tank farms comply with environmental regulations by updating permits and revising SPC/SPCC Plans and SWPPPs, and by submitting annual throughput reports, Tier II reports, and TRI reports. This work is essential for maintaining environmental compliance and protecting the surrounding environment.
