Leaaf performed a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA), Part 58 Checklist, noise survey, and an asbestos and lead-based paint (LBP) survey for Gulf Coast Housing Partnership in association with two target properties undergoing commercial renovations and development. The New Orleans Redevelopment Authority (NORA) was included for reliance. Ann Herring (Louisiana Department of Community Development) and Sherley Smith (City of New Orleans) were also consulted and involved in the project.
A Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 24 Part 58 Compliance Documentation Checklist and Statutory Checklist were completed in order for renovations to be eligible for grant funding. Leaaf personnel was responsible for all associated surveys and research.
Leaaf additionally completed a lead soil sampling survey, submitted an asbestos and LBP survey report, and an initial Operations and Maintenance plan in conjunction with the renovations at the target property.
