We are excited to welcome Kate Moriarty to the Leaaf team! A New Orleans native, Kate took a coastal detour to California, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Environmental and Ocean Sciences from the University of San Diego. She returned home in 2024, driven by a passion for protecting the environment and a commitment to making a positive impact in her local community.
Kate joined Leaaf Environmental in April 2025 as an Environmental Scientist on the Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Team. She supports the team with report writing, asbestos and lead sampling, and wherever her skills are needed most. Always ready to roll up her sleeves, she brings curiosity, precision, and a positive attitude to every project.
Outside the office, you’ll find her practicing yoga, exploring the outdoors, or getting lost in a good book.
