We are excited to welcome Qiliang Liu to the Leaaf team! Born in China and raised in the U.S. from his teenage years, Qiliang Liu brings a global perspective and strong work ethic to the Leaaf team. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Geoscience from the University of New Orleans and further honed his technical skills by completing a GIS Technician Certificate from Nunez Community College.
Before joining the environmental field, Liu worked for many years in his family’s restaurant business, where he developed a deep appreciation for teamwork, resilience, and the value of community—qualities he carries into every project he supports.
Outside of work, he enjoys building scale models and taking bike rides through his neighborhood, always curious about the world around him—one street (or trail) at a time.
